Greetings Friends and Supporters of St. John’s Ministries,
As someone born and raised in Green Bay, I know our community is extraordinarily special because of the caring ways we serve and help those who are struggling in life. Our love and concern for our neighbors are deeply rooted within the fabric of our city, and that is especially evident throughout the history of St. John’s Ministries- a community-supported nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring dignity, restoring hope, and creating last change.
I was promoted to Executive Director from Community Engagement Specialist in October 2023. Prior, I am proud of a nine-year career working several positions at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Green Bay. I am also proud of my twelve years of local government experience in elected nonpartisan positions with Brown County and Green Bay. I began the first ten years of my professional career in banking and then manufacturing sales, experience I am glad to have gained.
But enough about me.
During November 2025, friends and supporters of St. John’s Ministries celebrated our 20th anniversary as a provider of overnight shelter services to our brothers and sisters experiencing homelessness. What started as a simple grassroots shelter with mats on the floor of an empty Catholic elementary school, operated by a team of volunteers, has flourished into an organization with far reaching impact.
We provided over 25,000 nights of shelter during the 2024-2025 emergency season and offer robust year-round services at four facilities. None of this could have been possible without you- our community of supporters.
I am honored by the trust placed in me to lead St. John’s Ministries into our next twenty years. St. John’s Ministries is blessed by wonderful staff, volunteers, and donors who financially support our services and provide all sorts of needed items like clothing, meals, and hygiene items for our guests.
Friends, the mission of St. John’s Ministries is critically important as we encounter, assist, and encourage people along their paths from homelessness to stable housing. With your support, our impact will be deeper, and the reach of our relationship-based, trauma-informed services will grow even more during 2026 and beyond.
Together, we will impact thousands of lives through our many values, most specifically hope, love, and compassion.
…. with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
