Friday Lunches & Weekend Breakfasts
During our warm-weather season (May – October), St. John’s Ministries offers bagged breakfasts for men in our Safe Sleep shelter program, and bagged lunches for visitors at the Micah Center… all made possible by community volunteers who want to make a simple, yet meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
This is your change to get creative! If you have children who can help make and decorate the bags, even better!
Friday Bagged Lunches
Each Friday, May through October, guests and visitors experiencing homelessness or housing instability, leave the Micah Center with a bagged lunch.
Lunches may be dropped off throughout the week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) if they contain non-perishable items. If lunches contain perishable or refrigerated items, please drop-off at 11am on Friday (preferred).
Bagged lunches can be dropped off at the Micah Center at 612 Stuart Street.
Weekend Breakfast Bags
Throughout the warm-weather season, guests at our Men’s Shelter in the Safe Sleep program, receive a bagged breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Breakfast bags should contain shelf-stable food items that can last throughout the morning while guests go about their day.
Breakfast bags should be dropped off at our Men’s Shelter at 411 S. Jefferson Street (back parking lot) on Friday morning between 8:00am – 12:00pm.
