Tony Schneider, a native of Green Bay, earned his Bachelor’s Degree in human development & psychology from UWGB. He joined a national community service program (AmeriCorps NCCC) directly out of college and spent two years leading a team of 12 young adults in service projects with 11 non-profits in six different states on the West Coast. Following his two terms, he served as a Volunteer Manager for a combined five years at Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services and Pillars in Appleton.
Tony has been with St. John’s since 2021. His focus is on community engagement. He oversees the Community Engagement Team on a regular basis and continues to engage with guests when they present to the daytime resource centers. He enjoys talking with like-minded individuals that believe in the mission and support St. John’s Ministries.
Schneider is a firm believer in the separation of work and play. When he isn’t working, he enjoys weekends spent with his wife and their son. You can often find them at a local venue checking out bluegrass, folk, americana, and original music. He is a self-proclaimed DIY expert, constantly completing projects around his house, no matter how big or small.
